  • No, In the early days things were so tight I did it because i was short on money and a harried new mom. Now my kids are older and I cook most dinners from scratch, it goes farther and cost me less and I have more control over the ingrediants.

  • No. I am not big on red meat at all. Not a big hamburger person unless it is mostly soy, and DHs mom used to make it like every night so he wont eat it either.

  • beef stroganoff is one of my favs.
    I also love the lasagna and cheesy hamburger

    The mexican varieties are great too

  • I love hamburger helper but it's not very nutritious and my husband doesn't like it so I never make it.

  • Not anymore.
    Years ago when I was a beginner cook we ate it a lot. Then I began trying recipes from scratch and found that those tasted better and contained a TON less salt.
    I think they are great in a pinch or for beginner cooks, but shouldn't be relied on for nutritional value.
