Is there an easy way to dice raw chicken breast?

It always gets stringy on me and sticks together. Am I doing something wrong or can you only dice it when cooked?

  • Hello! I made diced chicken breast last night for dinner. It was still half frozen when I diced it, raw. I have always heard that you should cut up meat, even beef etc, when it is still partly frozen. It worked like a charm!! Also make sure you have a sharp knife. If you bought it unfrozen, put in the freezer for a couple hours prior to cutting it. Also, chicken breast is white meat, it does not need to be cooked as long as muscle meat.(brown) It gets dry & tough if you overcook it.

  • FREEZE IT!

    then cut it up. you'll have nice even uniform sizes. its how we learned in cooking school (I used to be a chef in my life before kids)
