  • Well it's not like ashes are like Humpty Dumpty!

I would say," I did not know this was an urn, and apparently the lid was not on tight and some of Uncle Edward fell out onto the floor!"

I don't know what I'd say other then the lid was not on tight and if I knew it was an urn I would have left them be, but it was so pretty I was admiring it. I would apologize profusely.

My Moms ashes are spread out all over the world.....my sisters even have their own little urn thingy with some of the ashes.........

I say do with my ashes what you want........Im gone and it does not matter. I wont feel the pain anymore so smoke me in the box and do whatever you feel is right after. If you travel, take some of me with you, celebrate my life and have a par--tay and say bon voyage'!

  • Apologize profusely......

having said that-normally a person's ashes come in a SEALED container....r u sure it was remains? maybe they were using it as an ash tray....at least I hope that's the case and they didn't just leave it open to collect dust.....

    either way......AWKWARD!
