  • I make something called cake balls every year. They are so YUMMY- but labor intensive so I only make them once a year at Xmas.

Here is the base recipe: Make a cake from a box mix- bake according to directions. When its done, crumble the whole cake while warm into a large mixing bowl. Mix in an entire jar of frosting. mix well. Form the entire mixture into walnut sized balls. Put in the freezer for at least 2 hrs. Melt an entire block of confectioners coating. Did the balls into the coating and let them set up on wax paper. Keep refridgerated till ready to eat.

The possibilities are endless. Mix and match flavors. Add candy pieces into the mix. Make with vanilla coating and then drizzle with semisweet chocolate. My favorite is spice cake with cream cheese frosting- sprinkled with heath bits. The kids like chocolate cake with M&Ms, with vanillla frosting. They are really pretty too- look like fancy little truffles.

  • ^^^^^^^Sounds yum!

    I like this one:

The recipe on the back of the Kraft Marshmallow Creme jar, EXCEPT, use white chips instead of chocolate.
Can use slightly toasted pecan or walnut peices in it. Maybe pistachios. Maybe chopped candy cane?
    Yum fudge, white and creamy!
