This can't be a good sign can it?

I know no one around here pays any attention to the polls unless it is in your favor but just for S.A.G.

  • No one ever got anything done by being popular, Many good things have been accomplished by people who were unpopular while making those changes happen.

I wouldnt pay too much attention to the polls right now because there are too many things going on and it takes time for people to see the effects of those changes. Sadly we live in a country that expects things to happen overnight, we have no patience, and we forget how much work goes into making things happen. So when someone says "are you happy with so and so" the answer will be negative because they have this idea that you can walk in and snap your figers and TA DA the changes are made. Must be nice to not live in reality where it takes more than snapping your fingers to accomplish anything.

  • What continues to concern me is the fact that the people continue to say they don't like the direction the country is going in (56%), they don't want the UHC, they don't want the bail out; yet, the dems insist they majority of the country is on board (or at least they seem to think if they say it is true, then it is true). The doctors who are the members of the AMA and the ARP recend the support, but the pres. continued to say they supported the bill. Who is actually dispelling misinformation - the people or the politicians? How is BO going to call himself out?
