Who is YOUR Veteran?

My Husband served for 10 years, Marines and Army combined..We endured a deployment to Iraq in the beginning of Us (1.25.05 to 1.19.06). He's been out of the military since 1.6.09 but still protects Our country in a certain kind of Law Enforcement..He's actually home today, as it's His weekend. I love my amazing Hero..He's the sexiest Veteran ever! My Gramps (R.I.P. 10.14.03) was in the Navy and Dadski (R.I.P. 8.3.09) was a Marine, His Son went to Iraq with my Husband and was KIA (6.11.05), and my Mom and Dad (aka In laws) were both Air Force. I love 'em all and am so proud!

  • My deepest connection with "vets" are the people who first lost their lives to build up this country unfairly. Slaves and Native Americans. I know people won't understand this but I really celebrate our unofficial vets and military vets on this day. Love to all of those who have fought and suffered for our country.

  • My husband is in the Air Force, my dad and dad in law are retired Army, my grampa was in the Navy, my brother in law was in the Marines. I have cousins in the Army in Iraq as i type as does my husband. I know nothing other than the military life and i am so grateful for it!

  • Thank you to all who served or are serving our country.
