my 1 year old has a bad runny nose. what can i do to help him?

  • get some tissue and wipe it up and have him blow it. its about the only thing you can do.

  • Watch for it to turn green or yellow.
    Watch for fever which is too high or lasts too long.
    Try to keep some calories in, appetite may be reduced.
    Adequate fluids
    If it's not a cold, perhaps check for allergies.

  • You can use little noses, its made for little babies, its just saline water, but it drys up the snot. I had to use it on my son alot when he was a baby.

  • I always suctioned my sons nose, that was the only thing that helped! And i only used Little Noses when he had a snuffy nose!

  • Is he cutting any teeth? Babies will get runny nose when they are teething. The best thing you can use is saline washes. Do use any tylenol or other meds it is not needed unless he is actual sick and a doctor recommends it.
