Did you pay to have a fuel pump fixed?

If you paid to have a fuel pump replaced what did it cost? I guess I'm looking at that for my '99 Dodge Intrepid. Would love to hear what it cost you if you can share that! Thank you in advance!

  • That's gonna be spendy! The fuel pump is ususally in the fuel tank. The labor is probably going to cost more then the part. You looking at atleast $500

  • Well I didn't have to pay the labor my hubby did it but the part was around 150 I think. Most labor is around 90 a hour. GL and I hope you don't get ripped off : )

  • It makes me sick to think about this, we spent $800 recently to get one done on a 2004 Saturn SL.

  • $81. My DH is a mechanic so all we had to do was buy the part.
