I can't help him stop crying?

My 7 month old is teething I've done tabs, rings, comfort nursing, rocking, white noise can you suggest anything else??

  • Take him outside to get him calmed down first then give him some orajel. Taking my son outside makes him instantly stop crying. Even if it is only for a few minutes.

  • tylenol and teething tablets have always worked wonders for my kids - along with a frozen washcloth to gnaw on. I stayed away from orajel ONLY because I don't like using it on myself - when I have used it, no matter how careful I am, I have always managed to to end up biting my tongue or the inside of my cheek (ouch!!)

  • Are you sure its teething? Most babies don't have such a severe reaction. You might want to check with your doctor just to be sure they don't have an ear infection or something. Not saying the teething doesn't cause discomfort but that sounds pretty severe.

  • running water. sit him on the edge of the kitchan sink and run warm water and let him put hhis feet and hands in it. realy cold apple sauce.i would also if this last get his ears checked too.
