I interviewed for a job last Friday and was offered the position. Now the person who hired me is avoiding me. How should I handle this?

I'm so upset since I gave notice on my current job. The manager who "hired" me told me she would call me Monday to set up a schedule but didn't. I called her Tuesday and left a message to call me but she didn't; Today I have left too messages but she's been too busy to coe to the phone. What should I do?

  • GO THERE. Harder to ignore a person who's standing right there.

  • I would just politely keep trying. Jobs are so hard to find!

  • Exactly...GO TO THE PLACE. Tell them you were offered a position and you would like to know what your schedule is going to be.

  • For future reference, never quit a current job until you have an offer for another IN WRITING!!
