  • My MIL gets $800 a month for 1 child. She should be getting $1500, FIL got a new job making less.

Step MIL gets $1100 a month for 1 child. Both are court ordered.

  • Court ordered I'm supposed to get $500/mo for 2 kids, and yes it's because he took a lower paying job. When we first divorced 6yrs ago, it was supposed to be $600/mo, but I only saw one yrs worth. We live in California and it sucks because he's a casino dealer and makes a killing in tips but only has to claim 10% of them, so his daughters are really getting jipped.

  • Wow, I get 260 a month for my son. We both work together though on getting the things he needs so that is what is more important. He wants for nothing so I am happy.

  • Back in 1990, my ex-husband was ordered to pay $427 per month for our one child. It was a court order that was later enforced by the Child Support Enforcement Agency when he refused to pay. He paid until she graduated high school in June 2007 even though she turned 18 in November 2006 because the state law demanded that CS be paid until they graduate HS even if they are 18.
