Can dogs get feline aids from cats?

We are getting a puppy and we adopted a kitten a few month ago from the veternarian, the told us they didn't do the aids test on the kitten because he was to young for it. So I just thought of this so I will bring him in next week and get him tested for it but for now I wonder can a dog contract feline aids from a cat?

  • It is not transferable between dogs, humans and cats. It is a cat disease. But there are other conditions that can pass between species. A good question to ask the vet.
