For b/f-ing moms who haven't had their period since baby was born...

Do you still get cramps every few weeks? I feel like I have PMS every few weeks but still no peroid (dd is 5 months)...just curious!

  • sometimes i do, but my girl is only about 2 months and i just lost my mucus plug..... i assumed the cramps were from that. nursing does cause the uterus to contract. that's why they say nursing helps it shrink back down after you give birth, so it makes sense that you would get occasional cramps.

  • My son is 61/2 months and still no period. I never get got pms or cramps or anything but it's probley normal.
