Stuffed Animals

Is it okay to give your baby a stuffed animal to sleep with at 5 months? Ive done it a couple of times but its when im awake so i can keep checking up on him... but it never gets in the way of his sleep...

  • I wouldn't personally do it. My DS has nothing in his crib except a thin blanket why take that chance? JMO Does he really need it? I worry enough about my son when he is sleeping anyway I would not want to add to my worries.

  • No, 5 month olds should have nothing in bed with them.

  • They make neat visual things that you can strap to the side of the crib, I would do that instead of a stuffed animal.
