  • If you tone up while you lose weight yes. Otherwise no. You have to build muscle to help burn fat and keep skin tight. Of course if you're under 30 too that helps.

  • Hello! I am on a diet and exercise program, trying for 16 to an 8 at size 12 now, so far so good, size 4 is pretty tiny, but you can do it!! Hang in there!

  • You probably would. If you are young your skin would do better.

Honey, size 4 is just too tiny. You wouldn't have curves. You wouldn't have boobs. You would have to shop in the girls department. I used to be that small and I'm 5'2" and it was about 90 pounds. The reason I was that small was I was very sick.

Size 8 or 10 is very nice. That's a size small in clothes. Even a size 12 is fine. Don't let anyone tell you that you need to be a size 4.

  • I agree with 2autisticsmom! Dieting alone will create flabby skin. You have to work out, and do a combination of cardio and toning exercises.

  • Ditto on the size 4. I too was a size 4 when I was in college and I was about 130 lbs and quite curvy.
Pants/dress size is just a number .... much like weight. My body image mantra is when I stop wobbling, I know I'm looking good! lol

  • A lot of this has to do with your age and how you take the weight off, how long you have been heavy..do you have an apron from a c-section..lots of things factor into this.
