  • Anyone I"ve ever known who have used diet pills end up losing and gaining over and over and over time just gain more weight. The people who change their lifestyles by excercising and eating different foods end up bright, happy, and fit for life.

  • I wouldnt do it...until you change your lifesyle(eating habits)nothing will really change. You will have better results from eating a healthy diet and getting active.Diet pills and laxatives may work for the short term, but as soon as you stop taking them your weight will come back, not to mention the health risks that are involved from taking them.

  • mega-t green tea pills work for me. and they make a gum too, its pretty good. and celcius drinks. they are all sold at gnc. and the grean tea pills are sold at cvs & walgreens too. but u kinda have to exercise & eat healthy too. ive been through eating disorders & used laxatives, but i wouldnt reccomend laxatives because they will fuck u up & make u not be able to poop without them. unless your gonna take them every once in a while like the night before you want to have a flat tummy and you ate too much that day. besides that they dont really make u loose weight.

  • Diets and diet aids are temporary fixes. Unless you learn how to eat healthy for life, you will not be able to maintain a healthy weight and will stay on the gain/lose roller coaster - frustrating for you and hard on your body. Drink at least 8 8oz glasses of water every day. Eat 6-7 servings of whole grains (brown rice, whole grain bread, etc.) every day. Eat 7-8 servings of fruits and vegetables every day, in at least 3 different colors. Eat at least 2 servings of legumes every day. You will lose weight. You will have more energy. You will maintain a healthy weight. You will get sick less often. You will be setting a wonderful example for your children. You can get free meal plans and recipes from Dr. McDougall, or find his books at your local library:
Eat an apple or a big pile of vegetables before meals

  • If you pick something to do to lose weight that you don't plan to do the rest of your life you are really just setting yourself up for yo-yo dieting. In order to lose weight and do it in a healthy manner, you need to make lifestyle changes as others have mentioned.

Quick weight loss is unhealthy unless you are grossly overweight and have strict orders from a dr to lose it quickly.

Way too many people have gotten totally messed up (liver problems, other health issues) from using diet pills and some folks have even died. Why risk all that for a quick fix that really doesn't address why you need to lose weight in the first place?

  • My mom got constipated & tried swiss kriss herbal laxatives for a couple days & lost 7 pounds. Granted, she quit taking them & she gained it back. It doesn't give you the poops either, you can leave the house!
