  • They don't "teach" DRA, it is an assessment tool to see if she is at grade level for reading. My daughter's teachers have used it. It is used in addition to their regular reading curriculum.

  • NY state does these tests to make sure the schools are teaching the children at the right level.If the school fails they can lose the money from the state.Especially now that Patterson is cutting school budgets.
