Clueless on electronics! Tips?

Info: Looking for something for my dh. He has NO hobbies. He does get bored and will play a couple computer games he likes to play. He is army and deploys and I would like something for him to take with him. Here are a few suggestions given to me: IPod, PSP, DS. I am clueless about these though. I heard the PSP has a camera and video recorder and you can play music on it. Is that the regular PSP or the new one that costs $250? I don't want to spend a whole lot if I am not sure it's something he will really like. around $100-$150 is where I would like to stay. I like the idea of a camera for him to have with him on deployments though. Can he upload it to online? I know absolutely nothing about the ipods, though. Tips? Advice? Any info is appreciated greatly!! Thanks!!

  • I think its just the regular one (don't take my word on this though) and i know that they wirelessly connect to the internet, so if it does have a camera then he would be able to upload.

I know it definatly has the ability to play music.

My lil cousins (well teenagers now) have some of the older ones but I dont remember what all they do....maybe cuz they are always losing them. lol)

  • If you want a compact, excellent quality video camcorder for your hubby, you can't go wrong with the flip mino.

    Read more about it here:

It has built in features that allow you to automatically upload to email and such, so that's pretty cool when out in the 'field'.
