When you wash your clothes, do you wash them in hot, hot-warm, warm-cold, or cold?

I've always washed mine in plain old cold water. I guess because my mom always did, but I was reading that home laundering accounts for up to 36% of hot water use.
Which ever one you use, why do you prefer it?

  • I have no choice to wash everything in cold water. Ever since i moved my washer from the kitchen to my back patio. I could pay to have a hot water line fed to it but nah. My clothes get just as clean.
