9 month old

My daughter is almost 9 months old. She army crawls, but does not crawl on all 4's. She will stand when I hold her hands, but she will not attempt to walk at all. She just stands there and looks around. Also, she does not get to a sitting position from laying down. Should I be concerned?

  • Nope. Especially not if her doctor's not concerned.

  • Don't stress, every child is different and develops at a different rate =)

  • very normal. My almost 9 month old (on the 25th of november) army crawls as well. She can get on all fours and take a few crawling steps and the goes back to the army crawl. Two nights ago, my daughter for the first time got into a sitting position for the first time on her own. It will come!

  • Not at all! Every child is very different, and her milestones will come when she's ready. :)

My daughter is 10 months and just started crawling on all 4's. For nearly two months, she pulled herself around with her arms and wouldn't move her legs at all - it was bizarre! But then just a few days ago, she pulled those knees off and took off like a rocket. She began sitting/pulling herself ot a standing position almost immediately thereafter.
