Reception was at johnny carinos- $350

I had my wedding outside at a public place so I didn't have to pay, and it was a very small guestlist.

  • Dress, veil and shoes cost 200 pounds.
The rest cost about 1,300 pounds.
I can't remember how it all breaks down because it was 21 years ago.

  • All together about $5000 I think.(not including rings) I dont really know, my parents paid for it all except our rings. My ring was $3500 and DH's was about $400. My dress was $500. Those are the only costs I know about. We had it at a golf course where the reception also was. We had about 100 people attend

  • Hmm, total I think it was about 6,000 dollars but that was 15 years ago.

My dress was about 1000 w/ veil, slip, and alterations.
My shoes were 2 dollars(on sale!)
My jewelry was 100 (not the rings, my pearl necklace and earrings.)
    Undergarments 100
Church was 150 dollars (they only requested a donation)
reception hall was the local VFW and the auxillary catered it. Price was 6.50 a plate and we had about 200 people.
    Invites were about 200+postage
Flowers some were real and some were silk so I think it was about 500.
    Cake was 125
    Pictures were 1000 I didn't want a video.
    Didn't do the limo
Hair and make up were about 200
    DJ was 350

My parents paid for it and they also had to buy my sis's dress that was 350 (she was 17).

  • My cake top was 85 dollars. It was handblown glass though.
Not sure about the decorations, the tableclothes and things were part of the catering. The centerpieces were maybe 5 dollars a piece and we made those ourselves. Had like 20 of them.
No alcohol though. Except for the bridal dance.

We had sliced turkey, ham, and chicken. Rigatoni, and stuffed cabbage rolls, green beans and roasted potates, salad and rolls. Plus a cookie table.

You can see my pics on my page.

  • I wanted to spend more money on a house and furniture, etc so spent less on the wedding. I had three of them and all three were under $500 and very nice I might add. I paid for my oldest dd's wedding and again kept it under $500. She bought her own dress and paid about $300 for it.

  • I was married by the justice of the peace with a small gathering of family BUT we had a really nice 100 + people attend out reception. We catered smoked pork and other meats (250.00), and had made our own side dishes. Our cake cost 45 dollars and was a beautiful two tiered wedding cake. We rented tables and chairs for around 50.00. We had it at my MIL's country home, so we had LOTS of room for our guests to be comfortable. We had an Ipod stationed and speakers set up, so the music was a going, bon fire and marshmallows for the kids. It was awesome! I do not have ONE regret about my wedding and reception. I didn't need a dress I had a cream colored pant suit! :)
