  • ya that cereal isnt too good. do you still give her formula? or breast milk? if so then that would help makeup for not having the cereal. i know some moms that only breastfeed for alot longer and skip ceral. or i would def try mixing some cereal with fruit or yogurt. try anything a couple times atleast before you decide she doesnt like it. :)

  • My kids wouldn't touch cereal with a ten foot pole either! As long as she's getting formula or breast milk still, then giving her fruits, veggies and yogurts should suffice. You obviously can't make her eat it if she doesn't want to. :) Babies are feisty that way! Lol

If she has teeth and can eat things like fortified cereals though, those will also help her get the iron she needs.

  • Try to add sources of natural iron to her diet. That baby cereal junk is not needed for any baby, and the iron in it isn't as easily absorbed as the iron that naturally occurs in food.

  • You can mix the cereal into fruits and veggies so she won't taste it but can still get the iron she needs.
