Nintendo DS.....

Are the games educationa? My DD wants a handheld game & I have no clue about them & want something educational.

  • they have some educational ones ,but I would suggest a leapster for your little one. They are great and help children read and learn math ...GL ...

  • How old is your DD? The DS does have some educational games, but they do have lots of non-educational games. If you want strictly educational go with a leapfrog of some sort because if you get a DS you'll end up with entertainment games for it.

  • there are quite a few good games out there - my girls love the brain age ones, the hidden picture, and the brain puzzler ones. but they love the entertainment games too.

    a DS will give more options as they grow older too - instead of the leapster being basically for small kids.
