Help, she keeps bumping her head!

My daughter is almost 9 months old and has recently started pulling herself up to stand, we lowered her crib so she wouldn't fall out and get hurt, only problem is that she'll start to pull herself up and slide down and hit her forehead on the crib bars. She's earned a new bruise the past 2 times I've put her in there by herself and it's breaking my heart to see them on her little face. I read that you're not supposed to use crib bumpers, but I don't know how much that would help anyway because they're kind of low to the mattress anyway, how can I keep her from hitting her head on the bars?

  • We use the bumperrs we just pull it down a little more and tuck in betweeen the mattress and the bars so that our daughter cant pull on it
it stops her from bumping her head on the bars.
