Stocking stuffers ideas?

Our daughter will be 9 months a few days after Christmas. We're getting her some toys for presents and we want to get her stocking stuffers too. Any ideas on some cheap stocking stuffers? We went to the dollar store but didn't see anything that we thought she'd like or be safe for a 9 month old. Any ideas? Maybe something I can make her? Thanks!

  • Teething biscuits are good in lieu of candy (if she has teeth already). Small rattles, teething rings/toys or car toys. Little baby books, or as we call them, "crinkle books."

  • Soft books or baord books are nice and useful. You can find lots of cute board books at Dollar Tree - I found Sesame Street Christmas books there for my kids. Baby "snacks" like teething biscuits, puffs, cheerios, etc. would be good, and maybe a cute snack carrying container to keep snacks in the diaper bag. You could make or buy her a special first Christmas ornament (maybe get one to start saving for her collection when she leaves home and get one for you to keep too). Sippy cups are great stocking stuffers. Bath toys are good too. If you are really crafty you could make her a rag doll or something like that.
