  • They are probably not called "non-religious groups" but rather a belief of an individual.

  • The only groups that come to mind are the Klan and other supremist groups. They use religious reasons, but mostly they just thrive on hatred of anyone outside their ideals.

  • Only religious zealots do this, I'm afraid. Any non-religious or secular organization would have NO reason to delve so rudely into the personal lives of others, unless it involved an endangered animal or child. As an atheist and a witch, I don't care. As an American citizen, I am all FOR gay citizens having the same right to marriage and happiness (or divorce and unhappiness on the other side of it!) that I have enjoyed. It's not like it will have any affect on me personally.
