I'm buying a digital camera for DH. What do "megapixels" mean?

  • Thats the quality of the picture. The higher MP's the clearer the picture will be.

  • Digital pictures are made up of tiny pictures...megapixel are how many tiny pictures make up the big one. The higher the MP the sharper the quality. Foe example a low MP picture if you blow it up will be fuzzy or not sharp, a higher MP will be able to be blown up or zoomed in on and not loose the quality of the photo!
