Jobs 'Saved or Created' in Congressional Districts That Don't Exist!!!
"In Arizona's 9th Congressional District, 30 jobs have been saved or created with just $761,420 in federal stimulus spending. There's one problem, though: There is no 9th Congressional District in Arizona."
$68.3 million spent and 72.2 million spent in the 1st Congressional District of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
$8.4 million spent and 40.3 jobs created in the 99th Congressional District of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
But wait! There's MORE!
Recovery.gov was established "to foster greater accountability and transparency" in the use of the money spent through the stimulus program. The site is a well-funded enterprise; the General Services Administration updated it earlier with an $18 million grant.
If they are "nudging' the numbers on jobs created and saved, WHY in the HELL would anyone trust them to re-organize and take more control of Health care. Are some just fools? Glutton (sp??) for governmental abuse.

I heard a report that the gov. counted some jobs twice, they counted the purchase of a lawn mower as 9 jobs saved/created. They have counted in student work/study programs as jobs saved/created. It really helps with that "trust" problem we are having with this administration. Check out the article which covered articles in the Boston Globe.

"Some" don't explain. They cry about the few construction workers who had jobs (until the weather turns cold) and how thankful those guys are to have jobs... Failing to acknowledge the lies and exaggerations this administration continues to nudge out to the public. They follow him sheepishly..

It's that fuzzy political math, I've read that numbers work differently in DC than in the rest of the known universe.
Seriously, though I would be interested in knowing where all the money has been going. Obviously transparency and accountability were just buzzwords with no real meaning behind them.
