He naps, I nap - it's all good. We practice tag-team parenting!

  • I would IF I never got to take naps. You should talk to him about how you feel. If I"m tired I say, hey I need to take a nap and he watches our girl, no problem.

  • I resent the fact that he can do it. It's not that he won't allow me to take a nap, but I just can't do it because I am too concerned about all the stuff I need to be doing while the babies are napping and I have the chance. If I did nap then I'd be up after they went to bed trying to make sure everything was taken care of and I'd still get less sleep.

  • Nope, I know if he finally takes one he really needs it, and he usually makes sure that im well rested. I get aggrivated when my son plays on his own for his daddy but wont let me have 10 minutes to eat! GRRR

  • I used to when my kids were still babies. Even in the middle of the night when he supposed to be sleeping, I would sit in bed and glare at him while I breastfed! It got better though, now we both nap.
