why wont he sleep?!!?

i swear my ds has been up all day since 11am he's slept maybe 2-3hrs since then about a hr or half hr at a time he's almost 2 months - 2m on thanksgiving - i need a break he's been crying and fussing all day along with being awake ....why wont he sleeep?

  • Could be gasey, teething, coming down with something like a cold or may be wanting more to eat? Try teething tablets or cool wash cloth on gums for teething and mylicon gas drops for gas or even 1 more oz of formula. And if none of these help monitor to see if your baby is coughing or anything. Also has your ds had a bowel movement normally today or in the past 2 days?

  • well he could be gassy but i give him the gas drops and im in the process of switching formulas he's been to the doctors twice last week for this problem they said he's not colicy and doesnt have the flu or teething..i feed him and he stops eatting and starts crying and wont eat anymore.. he had a bm earlier and twice yesterday ... i cant figure it out and either can the doctors im starting to think he's trying to drive me nuts lol

  • he's not sleeping well, he's probably overtired and overstimulated. My ds was doing the same thing. Find a way to make him nap, they really need a lot of sleep at this age. Try a swing to see if that works to help him sleep. Good luck, it's so hard.
