Food at a birthday party for kids.

I'm throwing a birthday party for my boys and it's at 5pm. I didn't want to do it at that time but i have no choice. SOOOO, i feel obligated to feed the little monsters some dinner foods before their cake and ice cream.

I really would rather NOT do pizza. I'm looking for something more creative then that. But it has to be something a bunch of preschool kids and kindergarten kids will eat. Ideas?

  • Hmmm, well pizza would definitely be the easiest. Hmmmm, maybe chicken tenders. You can make them yourself very easily by dipping the the chicken in light mayo and then in breadcrumbs and then throw them in the oven. Or maybe hotdogs and some appetizers like meatballs? How many guests are you having?
