  • anything over 101 is a fever... but it's not a big deal
Kids this age can easily have fevres as high as 104-105 and it's not a cause for alarm
A temp of 106 does not cause brain damage... nor does a temp of 107 although they do warrent a trip to the ER because they aren't common.

  • we all have the same average no mattr what age which is around 98 but if a fever hits 104 you should take them to the doctor. remember if it hits 106 a fever can cause brain dammage.

  • Anything above 100.5 is considered a fever.

  • if the temp is above 100.5 they can not go to school. but a true fever that would be treated (at eth er, dr office, etc) isn't until it is above 102.

i have a low body temp, averaging about 97- so if i break 100, its a fever. it is also based on normal body temp for the individual. most people do not know what their normal temp is though. lol
