How much do I charge?

I am going to open my own child care business out of my home in Oregon and I am not sure what I should charge. I don't want to charge so high that no one will come, but yet I need to be able to make a living. So to any of you moms out there could you please let me know what you think a fair and not to pricey average would be?

  • My moms best friend runs a licensed in home day care. She provides breakfast, lunch and snacks. She charges $120/week regardless of the age of the child. I think that she can only have 5 children there. This is in FL.
