what do you think of the name dillon?

is it a bad name? does it make you want to vomit? Is it lovely, does it fit a handsome looking man or a beer belly sweaty pig?
I only ask cuz it reminds me of my neighbor that was a fat smelly dirty pig. So now when I see children with that name, I look for similarities between that child and the neighbor and am totally turned off by that name :|

  • Lol, I think its a decent name. It's not awful I like it spelled Dylan though for some reason that makes it better even though it sounds the same. Like Dillon is the beer bellied sweaty pig, but Dylan is the nice handsome young man LOL idk maybe I'm nuts

  • I like it........ but it's SO trendy/popular that bothers me

I like the slightly different spelling, I guess.

I think of either a very random generic guy
or a slightly trendy and very likeable girl

  • Well my sos name is Dylan and IME he is not the only hyperactive one so when I hear a mom in the store say "DYLAN" in that exaserbated mom voice I am not surprised! So I think of hyper boys ...have never known an adult Dillon but come to think of it a HS BF had a friend named Dillion who was a pothead....

My cousin's son is named Dylan and they call him Pickle. He's 9 (a couple months younger then my oldest daughter). He's a good kid.
