What is the difference betweeen a prayer meeting and a sacred circle?

Aside from the fact that the two are religiously separate, IS there a difference at all?

  • idk..what is a sacred circle?
at the prayer meetings i've been to, as most were a big part of wednesday night service (baptist), everyone simply shared their concerns, their needs, their soul's thoughts, and prayed on them, either together or separately. its pretty weird to walk in on a bunch of individuals praying simultaneously, but i'm sure we weren't the only ones who do something like that. i mean, if God is God, He can sort all those prayers out, right? lol

  • A sacred circle involves at least two people celebrating a milestone or a big event. A circle is cast and rites are preformed, prayer is sent, spells are cast.

  • Not as much as christians would like to believe...or hope. Just as there isn't much difference between prayer and an incantation. We gather to celebrate and create positive energy. Well, unless you're in a prayer circle praying for Barack Obama's asassination.
