menstrual cramps after a baby?

If you suffered from cramps before having a baby, did they get worse, better, or did they stay the same after you had a baby?

  • After my daughter was born, my periods were regular for the first time in my life (I had her at 35 five), lighter, shorted and much less cramping.

  • For me they got worse, but everyone is different. It was really bad before but about 6 months after the baby it felt like I was experiencing minor contractions still..kinda weird! They have actually gotten better but its been over 7 months. Like I said..everyone is different talk to your doctor about it

  • I NEVER had cramps before I had my son. I also didn't feel contractions during labor. After having him, I suddenly HAD cramps during periods, and also DID feel labor (though no Braxton Hicks ever) contractions with my daughter.
