  • We symbolically threw out the diapers at 19 months... but we did keep some "night diapers" around for nap/bedtime. It took about a week of watching her like a hawk and moving her to the potty as she started to have an accident, offering an m&m for even partial successes, before she was telling us when she needed to go fairly reliably. We dealt with 1-2 accidents a week for a few months (usually when she was too distracted and we were trying not to take her against her will), and since then, she almost never has an accident. She's 2 1/2 now, and I can't remember her last accident. We're just now starting the naptime training, though, and we'll see where that leaves us with nighttime.

  • I AGREE no Pull ups! they are just another diaper anyway! I took mine to the potty every hour and after about 3 days we had it down!
