Can you do a split? Or can you STILL do a split? (And I don't mean the one with your

Ok I haven't learned how I try but I can not seem to stretch out my knee area unless I am sitting on my butt. What if I did alittle each day will I eventually be able to lift my leg like those cheerleaders? (Just a silly question)

  • Everyday squat down and push your legs apart then hold it, got to make sure it hurts though. Eventually you will be able to do it. Now if you were a fly on my wall you would think I am a moron. I just got down on the floor to see if I could still and yes I can, hurts....a lot but I can.

  • i am not flexable at all. I can't even touch my toes. I've been like this since i was a kid. I am not overweight either. I hate it! My daughter is the same way. I was thinking about putting her in gymnastics to try to stretch her out.

  • No way but I have an odd trait....I can stand on my toes. I curl my toes under and lift up like a ballerina. Everyone yells "OUCH" when I show them.
    And yeah, do some warm ups,strectch a little everyday, and see how far you get!

  • I cannot, and never been able to do a split. I tried as a kid and strained my muscles when a friend helped me do one by forcing my legs down when she sat on me. OUCH!!!! I never tried that again.

  • I did before I was pregnant. I could do a left leg front split but never any other way. I just kept going further and further down every day until I got there. I couldnt do it now since I was on bedrest for 7 months of my pregnancy but I am trying to stretch out again and become more limber for my hubby (o:
