I tried nursing both my children and had no success.. i have inverted nipples.. Could you please give me some advice on how to get myself ready to breastfeed again. • i don't anything about inverted nipples since mine aren't, one is half flat so it gave me a tad more trouble but not bad. i just wanted to suggest you read up on it on kellymom.com. that is a GREAT SITE. good luck :) there are 3 links for it here

  • I had an inverted nibble. Get a nibble shield that will help to hold the nibble up while nursing. Also you wont have an issue with cracked or bleeding nibbles. With me after a while I didn't need it and I no longer have an inverted nipple. I did have to ween my oldest off the shield which was a bit difficult. Second didn't need a shield. I nursed two girls until at least 18 month with little difficulties past the first 6 weeks. Also it sounds like there was more going on then just the inverted nibble. Get stubborn and creative, and something will work.
