Does anyone have business marketing know-how? I need help...
I am trying to figure out a good way to get exposure for a business I am helping. It's for concrete staining, and we have to target a local audience. Have any of you gotten good response through some advertising source for a business you own? We don't have a bunch of $$ to waste on advertising sources/methods that don't work either. I've done the craigslist, Tijiji, blogging on yahoo, myspace, facebook. Got free ads in the yellowpages, google maps, yahoo local. Was going to do a listing in the paper on friday. I'm at a loss cause I can't think of any more "free" ways to do this and expect results. Also thought of making a flyer and putting it on cars at Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart. Do people really look at those things? What do you guys think?

Billboard ads are very affective. They're expensive, but affective for much longer than just the time they're up. Some companies dont' allow you to rent 1 month only, but some will. Some also have split ads that are cheaper (2 ads on 1 billboard). You might want to check into that and try it.Found an answer to your question?

I usually read ads that are stuck on my windshield - but make sure they are big enough to be seen BEFORE someone gets in a car (a bright color would be good too) because often I get in the car and see a small one stuck in my windshield washers that I didn't see before I got in the car, just start up the car, and start up the wipers once I'm moving so it will blow away. (Obviously I don't read those.)Found an answer to your question?
