Is it to early to send out christmas cards??

  • I hope not. We got our first yesterday from an amazing couple from England we met in Mexico this summer. I usually send mine out right after Thanksgiving..but if you have them done go for it.

  • Thank you Both!! I just have really bad anxiety & i just hate waiting for the last min to do anything!! haha sometimes i feel like i am a little crazy! I rather just get it all over with now then wait when it comes to EVERYTHING! My other half hates that about me tho i dont see why? lol

  • I think if a Christmas card arrives before December, it is too soon. So if you are sending one overseas, it might not be too soon.

  • I think it's a little early, at least wait another week til after Thanksgiving. Most put up their Christmas decorations the weekend after Thanksgiving.

  • LMAO You sound EXACTLY like me! I can't stand things not being done. I have my whole house decorated already! I thought about it but it really is too early. I already wrote mine out, addressed them and stamped them lol but I won't mail them out until Dec 1st...which is still a bit early but hey who cares right?

  • I agree with the anon above. Go ahead and address them and stamp them, then mail them out the day after Thanksgiving, or even the day before would be fine. I like receiving cards right after Thanksgiving so i can use them in part of my decoration. But I think this year i may decorate earlier, so will bring out cards from last year too. I like to have all my decorations up by Thanksgiving :-) it makes it feel so much more festive.

  • you can get them ready to go but i would wait till after turkey day, i think before that is a little tacky. it isnt even christmas season yet.
