Needed: Entertainment Gift Ideas Under $10!

Hi everyone!

Us here at the Daily Buzz are putting together a Gift Guide and we are needing ideas from YOU!

Next week, we're focusing on gifts that are under $10. They could be things that you want or things that you're planning on buying for your friends and family.

Since I am the Entertainment editor, I'm looking for items that are entertainment-based. Think TV, movies, music, celebrity, books, video games, board games, technology, etc.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated and of course, I will credit your awesome idea in the Buzz post!

Thanks in advance for all your help!

Best,

Brittny

  • Movie gift pack: Buy a big bowl at a dollar store. Put a couple popcorn packages in it. Throw in some $1 candy boxes (Gobstoppers, Bottle Caps) from Walmart. Add a $5 gift card for a movie store. Or you can buy a few more things like beef jerky, trail mix, couple 20-ounce sodas.

  • Hmm... what about a charades gift pack? You could get a bowl at the dollar store. And some index cards. Maybe a little timer. It would take time writing out a bunch of things to act out, but it would kind of be like Pictionary - only with acting!

A fun game for kids around 9 - 13 - Jelly Belly is selling these jelly beans that come in a little box. For each color of jelly bean, there are two flavors - a good one and a BAD one. LOL So if you have the kids sitting around a table, everyone gets a jelly bean. Then they see who gets what. If you get a gross bean, can you eat it all, or do you spit it out? (we've done this, and my kids LOVE it!) You could come up with a points system, and use index cards to write out game instructions.

  • Also, you could do a DVD combo pack. Walmart almost always has those bins of $5 movies. You could pick a couple good ones and give that as a gift. = )

  • A great place to get computer software is 5dollarsoftware.com

They have some software there as low as 50 cents!

There are many that are 5 bucks and under, and 10 bucks and under!

They also have it broken down by catagories...such as kids, business, etc...

  • Forgot to mention that the reason the software is so cheap, is sometimes it doesn't ship with the big flashy boxes that you end up throwing away anyways! ---- So you're also going to be doing your green part for the enviroment by purchasing less cardboard and paper waste!
