too small???

is 18 pounds underweight for an almost 14 month old?? i am 5'5 and really thin, and her dad is like average i guess

  • Is 17lbs too big for an almost 6-month-old?
    It all depends on your family. My DD was big to start with (8lbs 11oz) so she's growing at a rate that is right for her.
    If it really worries you, ask the doctor. :)

  • kids slow way down around a year old, if your doctors not concerned don't worry

  • its small but doesn't necessarily mean underweight. If you are small then possibly just takes after mommy! My older two are big but my 20mos old is small. Now I am not so small since kids but as a child I was tiny so the last one took after ME! LOL There dad is very tall and a big guy!
