is this weird to you? just thought about it....

That when your constipated you drink apple juice to loosen you up.... But when your having the runs you eat applesauce to stop you up? Lol.

  • Yeah, I asked my son pediatrician and there's something in the applesauce that helps... I believe it's the pectin in the applesauce that helps.. Apple juice doesn't have that in it..

  • LOL, apples loosen things up for me regardless of consistency. Bananas stop it up! Guess we are all a little different!

  • Quality applesauce contains fiber and fiber can bind you up, but apple juice is basically just flavored sugar water and too much sugar can give you the runs.
