Dems alarmed as independents bolt
Following serious setbacks with independents in off-year elections earlier this month, White House officials attributed the defeats to local factors and said President Barack Obama sees no need to reposition his own image or the Democratic message.
Since then, however, a flurry of new polls makes clear that Democrats are facing deeper problems with independents—the swing voters who swung dramatically toward the party in 2006 and 2008 but who now are registering deep unease with the amount of spending and debt called for under Obama's agenda in an era of one-party rule in Washington.

A Gallup Poll released last week offered a disturbing glimpse about the state of play: just 14 percent of independents approve of the job Congress is doing, the lowest figure all year. In just the past few days alone, surveys have shown Democratic incumbents trailing Republicans among independent voters by double-digit margins in competitive statewide contests in places as varied as Connecticut, Ohio and Iowa.

No I think your "Average" citizen is waking up to the fact that this country is in the economic basement.
If voters thought O could walk on water and turn turds into trillions (on the +) side, than of course they'd be sorely disillusioned and turning away from the GROUP currently in charge.
Obviously, the ladies who frequent this forum have an interest and passion for government and politics, that the average US citizen does not possess.
You guys are thinking way too deeply on this one-

That is hilarious. Have you ever met Michael Moore? I actually know him he is very good friends with one of my cousins. He is an arrogant ass. He does not care about anyone but himself. I have been around his very large and nasty ass one more than one occasion and I felt I needed a shower. He is very into making women feel uncomfortable. I am a Liberal and know this man is not right in the head.lol You go on ahead and make him your hero just know he does what he does for the money. He lives in a very lavish home and drives lavish cars. He is in it for the cash.lolFound an answer to your question?
