Need a present for 8 yr old girl.

Its for our dd. She is kind of at that age ya know, where she is outgrowing some stuff. We want a gift that is a little more grown up but still age appropriate. Any ideas? Thanks!

  • cameras are really fun for this age, a watch, alarm clock, guitar with lessons, or a book to learn from, books, CDs

  • My dd is that age. The gifts seem to be getting alot more expensive! my dd wants an ipod or mp3, she like DSI (but isnt getting one cause we have a DS), nail polish, craft sets (right now they go through alot of string making friendship bracelets) stuff for her room, clothes from Justice, accesories for bike, purses, tote bags, hair accesories.

  • If she's a girly girl, a jewelry box (Disney store online has some nice "treasure boxes." If you type in "treasure box" in the search you'll see a variety of the princess ones.) Maybe also get something for her to actually keep in there - a necklace, some earrings, etc.
