  • USPSTF is "an independent panel of experts in primary care and prevention that systematically reviews the evidence of effectiveness and develops recommendations for clinical preventive services." The task force, a panel of experts, is funded and appointed by the government of the United States.

  • FRISCO, TX -- 11/18/09 -- The fight against breast cancer faces a new challenge as the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) announced Monday their recommendation against routine screening mammography in women below the age of 50. The report also suggests there is little benefit to mammography screenings for women above the age of 75.,1052862.shtml

  • I agree itsmesteph11, sounds like a death panel to me.

How many women were on the panel.

Maybe the ladies should have a Viagra panel. That stuff is really expensive and certainly not medically necessary..................

  • Lol, I don't know. I'm pretty sure a tax payer funded four hour erection is a LOT more necessary than those pesky mammograms.
