do u call native americans "indians" i know thats not the proper term. people from india are indians. lol just a silly question

  • Im Indian and to be honest it kinda annoys me when people assume India Indians are the same thing as Native Americans...Its like come on...where did u get your education...under a rock? India is in Asia, Native Americans are from America etc....

  • My DH is "native" I don't call them indians my DH gets offended when he hears that. So I don't do it out of respect for him. But I don't get upset when I hear other people say it.

  • I say Native Americans, just to make it clear that I am talking about, well, Native Americans, as apposed to Indians as in from India, on the continent of Asia.
