Is there an easy way to get dog smell out of furniture?

I got a couch and chair from my mom's friend. She had a dog and the smell is stuck in the furniture. I don't like dogs period, I HATE their smell.

Could I just take the cushion covers off and wash them and then spray the rest with febreeze? I don't really feel like doing a totally involved-takes-all-day project.

  • Go to Petco or Petsmart and get some Nature's Miracle. Use it in a carpet cleaning machine with the upholstery attachment.
