  • There's no need to do anything with your nipples. Lift shirt, pop baby on, feed him, pop baby off. Done.

  • Baby wipes have alcohol in them. I wouldn't put those on my nipples!

I was never told to wash off my nipples after a feeding. I know you aren't supposed to wash them (as in in the shower) with soap.

  • I never have (4 children). None of my breastfeeding books say to wash off nipple first unless they have medicine on them and then you're just suppose to use warm water and pat off with a soft cloth.
    Hope that helps. :o)

  • I don't. And I definitely wouldn't use baby wipes on them. There's all kinds of chemicals in those things. I don't want my baby eating that stuff.
